Irish National Institute for Literary Creativity in Spanish
Sergio Vilchez Vidal is the founder and director of INICLE.
A project that began in 2019 with the intention of promoting writing (primarily in Spanish) among children and adults residing in Ireland.
Among its activities is a literature workshop.
In 2020, for the first time and on an annual basis, it organized a national short story competition in collaboration with ASPI (Association of Spanish Speakers in Ireland).
It ended its first year in 2020 by publishing a children’s book of Christmas stories written by the members of the literature workshop and illustrated by their children.
In 2021, INICLE is organizing a series of discussion forums for ASPI, which are presented here:
INICLE publishes annual compilations of short stories written by the authors participating in the workshops.
